Halloween Street Party in Malate.
Malate lies east of Manila Bay. Together with the district of Ermita up north, Malate is a popular tourist spot and a known center of bohemian night life in the city. Malate comes alive after dark. So, the sunset at Manila Bay is just an excuse to be there early. Then, the lights come on and the district is transformed.
Malate is also known as the gay capital of the Philippines with an active gay community living in the area surrounding the intersection of Maria Orosa and Julio Nakpil streets, near the Remedios Circle.
Yeah, whoa, the veins in the old lady's face are just too realistic.
Never thought someone could go as a headless body without actually removing their head. Given, it has a long neck, but still well done. :P

Heh, yeah, the first girl's so cute - and then you see that bloody cleaver ;-)

I love the bloody chef! She looks so nonchalant about holding a bloody knife in her hand... which makes her look a little scary. :)

noticing there is an influx of foreigners in this country, i put up a website which explains tagalog/filipino language. i know very well how difficult it is being a foreign land unable to speak the vernacular. it is very possible to encounter all kinds of problems. i am no expert of course. but here is an example.

These interesting images shows that these people really knows how to dress for the occasion.
The first one with a blooded cleaver knife looks like she'll be just as happy to serve a leg of man as she would a leg of lamb, with a :)

The headless guy is freaky but I like the psycho Iron Chef the best.

The middle one is terrible; I think that was the girl in the top photo that beheaded him.
